m.toast: I just got another call from Dial-A-Narc! That makes two!
Editron: Anything new?
m.toast: Not really. They want me to gather some info and get back to them.
m.toast: They want to talk to the landlord. I won't have to. Since the last time I did she told the previous Whiskey Tango tenants who complained. Nice.
Editron: Right. Pure genius. These WTs seem a little more frightening, too.
m.toast: In one way. At least these guys are quiet. But it's an ominous, drug dealing quiet.
Editron: Like they're doing anything to keep from drawing attention to themselves? Seems a bit too late...
m.toast: Right. Like I haven't noticed the giant clouds of dope smoke pouring out the front door. ??
m.toast: The Drug Pigs seem to think they're probly not cooking meth. Just selling em jay and probly coke.
Editron: The using part wouldn't bother me half as much as the selling, but still... Oh well, I guess you don't have to worry so much about an explosion.
m.toast: I just don't like all the people in and out. Most of the time I don't even recognize the cars coming and going. Except for the couple of "regulars."
Editron: Did they give you any advice on how to gather evidence?
m.toast: Pft. Like I need advice on chicanery. Double ha.
Editron: I completely understand. Seems to me like the wise thing to do would be to keep a log, take some pictures, and send a gift package to the DA's office.
m.toast: Yeah. I need to get the Whiskey Tango Cam set up. Send them the URL.
m.toast: I can have still frames in 5 sec. increments saved to my hard drive as jpegs. And a live web feed.
Editron: Not a bad plan. Good enough resolution for court?
m.toast: Sure. I just need to find some time to set it up and get the server feed going.
Editron: Are you going to hide it in a garden gnome?
m.toast: It's wireless. I could suction cup it to the Virgin Mary statue on my porch. Our Lady of Blessed Surveillance.
Editron: Something poetic about that.
m.toast: That would be a yard ornament bonus: Catches dope fiends, inspires owner to wax poetic.
