Yesterday I called the CRANK HOTLINE. And the KCPD Meth Unit. “Leave your report and the address at the beep.” I did so. Then sat on the porch to watch the daily after-work crank pickup line form in the street. Sigh.
In better news, I’m getting a few days off work either this week or next. We’re creeping up on the end of the pre-Vegas Tradeshow busy season, and we’re all worn out up here at The Brown Tower. A few weeks to recoup, then I’m off to the evil Vegas Tradeshow itself. The Chuck is going to come along and most welcomely bum off my hotel room. I’m looking forward to various Vegas debaucheries, hopefully balanced well with good, responsible work-thing attendance. (But most likely not. Heh.)
It’ll be big happy fun time at my house during my days off. Spring is here. And so are Casa Toast house chores. I’ll be busy as a bee. Or a carpenter ant. Or something. Cocktail anyone?
